Corporate experiences from applying the Science Based Targets Network’s guidance for setting nature targets
From August 2023 to March 2024, 15 Finnish companies participated in UN Global Compact Finland's training programme related to science based nature targets. While the first version of the SBTN guidance was published before the programme started, the framework is still a work in progress, with major updates expected in 2024 and 2025. In this report, we briefly describe the target-setting process for setting nature targets and summarize programme participants’ findings and experiences from the programme.
